The pair finally get it on as Edward and Bella in the latest installment of the Twilight movies, Breaking Dawn.
Pattinson, 25, admitted he had also put a ban on anyone ever seeing his audition tapes for the role of Edward Cullen in the hit films.
He told The Sun newspaper: 'It's never going to happen. They'd be so disappointed. It's so much better in your imagination. It's like the sex scenes — better to keep that in your head.'
Stewart, 21, who plays Bella Swan, agreed, adding: 'Not to give anything away — but you've been working for so long and it's also not real. It's not human sex. It's obviously blown a little bit out of proportion, slightly. It's kind of like the most important scene in the movie. It's so weird.'
