Overview
The 24-year-old Twilight star said that he was so touched by the plight of the flightless birds in the docu-film that he broke down in tears, and he did the same when the time came to say goodbye to Tai the elephant on the set of his latest movie, Water For Elephants.
He told Seventeen Latino magazine, 'I cried the last day that Tai was on the set of Water For Elephants, and during the film March Of The Penguins.
'I think I have more affinity with animals than with people. For many reasons, I prefer working with animals and children than with actors. Often when you're working with actors, it becomes something almost competitive.'
