Overview
The 25-year-old actor's vampire character, Edward Cullen, gets his wife Bella Swan pregnant in the forthcoming instalment of the saga. She insists on having the half-human, half-vampire child. But be warned: the birth is not pretty.
Speaking at a press conference, Pattinson told Us Magazine, 'For a fantasy series that's aimed at a young audience, it goes quite far.
'It's quite graphic. There's no way to do it in any kind of tame way.'
Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella, agreed saying, 'It's not your typical birthing scene. It took two days to shoot, two days of labour. In the book, there's this part where she's literally choking on blood that she's been drinking, and [she's] out of her mind.'
