Robert Pattinson: Twilight G-string was too small

The actor gets intimate with on and off-screen love Kristen Stewart in the forthcoming Breaking Dawn – Part 1, and said that when it came down to shooting the scenes, he had to wear a less-than-comfortable pair of skimpy pants.

'I just ended up thinking purely about vanity things,” he told The Sun. “You're sitting there in a little G-string. They give me a big G-string — but it was too small for me. It was like old ham.'

When it came to filming a scene in which Kristen’s character Bella Swan gives birth to a half-human, half-vampire baby, Pattinson said ingredients from the kitchen cupboard came in handy when recreating the gore.

'It was terrifying going into it. It was one of the most incredible scenes to do in this movie. Because of the violence in it, it gave you freedom in scene and having every character so desperate,” he said.

'But I'm also stuck between emaciated dummies' legs, chewing through a placenta and getting cream cheese all over your face with strawberry jam and pulling out a three-week old baby with a wig on.'
