Overview
Robert Plant has finally confirmed what had been rumored for over half of a year, he married singer Patty Griffin from his group Band of Joy last year.
In an interview in Britain's The Independent, he stated "I eloped and ran off to Texas so now I spend half my time there and half here."
Plant when on to say that he in Griffin live in "an old crack house" in Austin that is filled with termites. "I tap my hand on the table and they fly out the walls in this huge cloud, like something from a Disney film."
Reports first surfaced of possible nuptials on November 7 of last year that the pair had been in a relationship as far back as May of 2011 and a picture shortly surfaced showing them handing out Halloween candy in Austin. Since that point, there has been no further mention until the Independent article.
