Overview
Rod Stewart has revealed that he became a father for the first time as a teenager, but that he gave his daughter up for adoption. Stewart said he gave his daughter up because he was "stone broke." He admitted on The Joy Behar Show that he has had contact with his daughter, who is named Sarah Streeter, since the 1980s, when it was revealed to her that the rocker was indeed her dad. She is in her '40s.
Streeter's adoptive parents have since died, which has opened up the lines of communication even more.
Stewart is a father of seven and it's about to be eight, when his wife gives birth!
