Knowing the Rolling Stones, this could be a semi-elaborate hoax but, on Wednesday, a hand-written list of songs was uploaded to their Twitter account.
The list shows 22 titles written in what some are calling Mick Jagger's handwriting on a yellow legal pad. The general thinking is that this is, at least, a partial list of the songs that the group is rehearsing for their late-November and early-December shows in London and New York.
The songs on the list:
She's So Cold
You Got Me Rocking
All Down the Line
Respectable
Tumbling Dice
Honky Tonk Women
Beast of Burden
Wild Horses
[You] Can't Always Get [What You Want]
It's All Over Now
Lady Jane
Rt. 66
Little Red Rooster
Miss You
Not Fade Away
She's So Cold
Start Me [Up]
Sweet Virginia
Worried About You
Paint It Black
The Last Time
Ruby Tuesday
Midnight Rambler
If this turns out that these are among the songs for the shows, it will be an obvious push of the new greatest hits sets GRRR! with only three songs (All Down the Line, Sweet Virginia and Worried About You) not appearing on either the 50 or 80-track versions.
