Ronald Isley of the Isley Brothers is in tax trouble. Isley has been indicted for tax evasion from 1997 to 2002. The IRS says Isley has been depositing royalty checks for his own use that have been meant for the other Isley Brothers, including his dead brother, O'Kelly. He's also accused of insisting that half his tour fees be paid in cash, and then he'd pay his musicians in cash, which kept the payments off the books.
Isley has had tax problems before. Isley avoided paying taxes several times in the past three decades. The I-R-S seized his yacht, cars and other property in 1997 and he declared bankruptcy.document.write(unescape("
