The couple tied the knot at the Aman-i-Khas hotel near the Ranthambhore national park, Rajasthan, which is home to a tiger sanctuary, on October 23.
According to the London Evening Standard, the newly-weds and four others are accused of disturbing wildlife in the park and violating environmental and wildlife laws by smoking, drinking alcohol, and taking weapons inside the park.
But Raghuvir Singh Shekhawat, field director at Ranthambhore, branded the allegations 'ridiculous'. He said, "There was no disturbance, no drinking or smoking, they had no loud music.
"The management even has a record of the frequency of the music — you're allowed up to 55 decibels and they didn't play above 50 decibels.
He added, "Katy Perry and Russell Brand came here so it's a great privilege to us."
According to the New York Post Perry and Brand will not face any repercussions, though the hotel owners could face a fine, or a few days in jail if found guilty.
