Overview
The hit Broadway musical based on 1980s rock songs is being turned into a feature film with a cast boasting the Mission: Impossible star as well as Alec Baldwin and Julianne Hough.
For weeks the British comedian has been linked with a role in the movie - and he has said it is still in the balance.
In an interview on US entertainment show Extra, Brand said: “I don’t know, we are trying to work out scheduling.'
Referring to pop star Katy Perry, he added: 'I need to have time off to see my wife.”
