Overview
The last time the pair got together it resulted in the Sachsgate affair but they were both on their best behaviour yesterday when they read part of Brand's new book, My Booky Wook 2, at the Hackney Empire in East London.
In a question and answer session afterwards, the audience reportedly kept asking for the pair to sing the tune that caused the trouble with actor Andrew Sachs when they left lewd messages on his answerphone.
According to British newspaper The Sun, Russell, 35, joked: 'I'd better not do the Andrew Sachs song because as you know it nearly destroyed Earth.'
When the show finished Brand was pictured leaving the venue with his mother Barbara with a West Ham flag wrapped round him.
