Russell Brand has bizarre cameo in Noel Gallagher video

The 36-year-old makes a guest appearance in the eight-minute clip.

The video picks up from the end of the promo for Gallagher's debut solo single The Death Of You And Me, where the former Oasis star meets a waitress at a US diner in the desert.

After serving him coffee she jumps into a wagon when a travelling band comes along and the new video shows her meeting Russell inside.

He then force-feeds the girl a magic potion, telling her: 'Once you've taken a sip of this splendid brew - it smells quite delicious - the world will never look the same again. And as I explained to you, you never really had a choice.'

The girl refuses but then Russ enlists the help of his two nieces to make her swallow some of the potion.

She then passes out and the husband of Katy Perry is seen giving a picture of the waitress to his nieces and instructing them to find her.

The two girls then hijack a car, find the waitress and put her into the boot of the vehicle, before picking up Noel, 44, who is hitchhiking.

At an old hotel pool, he films them sunbathing before it's shown that the camera is actually a 'Soulsucker' which makes the pair disappear.

Gallagher then frees the waitress from the boot and locks the camera away in a suitcase.
