The British actor, whose other half is singer Katy Perry, said that Mirren wasted no time in helping him undo his pants when the cameras stopped rolling.
Russell, 35, told the Daily Star, 'The button on my trousers was broke and she said, 'Your trousers are undone.'
'She sat down on the bed and I mimed in a sexually aggressive way, 'Undo my fly.' And she did.'
He added that although fame has its perks, it soon becomes boring.
'The extraordinary becomes mundane rather quickly. I go from, 'Wow, I'm at the Oscars!’ to 'When do these Oscars end?''
