The British funnyman is expected to wed his pop star girlfriend Katy Perry this week in India, and has been meditating and indulging himself in Indian traditions to help him prepare for the big day.
A source said: "Everyone is panicking about their speeches except Russell, who is doing speeches every day and is apparently not bothered. He says he is in a permanent love bubble.
"Russell has also been doing tons of meditating and spiritual things before the wedding and has been reading up massively on different Indian wedding traditions.
The couple started dating last year, and Russell proposed during a romantic break in India on New Year's Eve (31.12.09).
The pair have decided to return to the country for their wedding day, after seeing how "camp" and "colourful" Elizabeth Hurley's wedding to Arun Nayar was when she chose the country as her venue in 2007.
The source explained to Britain's Hello! magazine: "Katy loved the Elizabeth Hurley wedding pictures because she thought it was colourful, camp and very in keeping with her and Russell's spiritual and philosophical beliefs ' plus it gives her lots of opportunity for costume changes. Katy's stylists have said, though, that she can't offend Indians by being too racy, so a lot of her clothes have been toned down, some with material added onto them."
