Russell Brand has signed a $3 million deal to write two more books.
The British comedian - whose autobiography 'My Booky Wook' sold over 600,000 copies in the UK - will release the two titles with HarperCollins Publishers Worldwide, who have also secured rights to publish his first book in the US - due out early next year.
The 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' star said of his deal: "I am very pleased to get money for writing these books as I was going to write them anyway."
As well as penning two new tomes, Brand is reportedly set to star in a new 'Carry On' film. The 32-year-old funnyman was said to be in secret talks to play a Simon Cowell-style music impresario alongside stars including Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding in 'Carry On To The Next Round', the first film in the famous British comedy series for 16 years.
