Brand was on NBC’s Today Show with host Meredith Vieira to promote his Booky Wooky 2.
Asked about falling in love with Katy Perry, he said: “Yeah that did happen, I remember it happening, I am still now living in the aftershock.
“We are going to get married. The Arctic, India, Egypt on a pyramid, at the earth’s core, I am trying to spread different rumours so on the day we can sneak off.
“It has changed me. I have got a lot more energy on tour, primarily, I stay out of mischief a lot more. It has been really good, it has been quite devotional for me.
“She threw a bottle at me, it hit me in the head, and I received either a head injury or true love at that moment.”
But Brand admitted that because of their busy schedules, starting a family may have to wait.
“I don’t know, remember I have got a job, Katy’s got a job, I think we will have to wait quite a bit.”
