The British comedian, who was once famed for his womanising ways, said that while he will continue to play rock and roll parts in films, he won't allow any misbehaving to leak into his marriage.
He told The Big Issue, 'Whilst at work I will fulfil those commitments, but in my marital life I will prioritise the things required for that, loyalty and honesty and love.
'I think I can still make smart-aleck quips at an award ceremony, or play a dodgy character in a film when required and let that not affect my marriage. Otherwise Ray Winstone's wife must live in terror.'
And the 35-year-old admitted that he met Perry at just the right time.
He explained, 'To be honest, I think I was getting to a point in my life where I was ready to change.
'She's my mate, and I get on well with her. She doesn't take any nonsense, she's very loving and sweet and good fun, and we sort of get on.'
