Russell Crowe has finally been reunited with his family.
The Hollywood star has returned to Australia in time to see his two sons for Christmas. He was spotted arriving in Sydney on Wednesday and visiting his estranged wife Danielle Spencer's home, where his children live.
A shaven-head Russell was carrying a huge bag of gifts as he stepped out of a black car, wearing a casual short-sleeved navy polo shirt with jeans and sunglasses.
The New Zealand-born actor has been in New York City recently shooting his new fantasy movie Winter's Tale alongside Colin Farrell. After spending the morning on the film set, he flew to Australia for some quality time with his boys Charles and Tennyson.
Russell has had a hectic time this year, juggling his commitments to Winter's Tale, Noah and Les Misérables.
The 48-year-old star hasn't managed to take a break between projects, and he has estimated that he has only seen his children for around 40 days in 2012.
Last week, he took to his Twitter account to reveal he was desperately missing his kids and was looking forward to wrapping Winter's Tale so he could see them.
"As soon as I finish this job and can get home, my priority is to try to bring my family back together," he wrote.
In October, it was reported Russell had split from his wife Danielle after a nine-year union. His demanding workload is alleged to have contributed to their marital problems, with him previously admitting his schedule is "f**ked up".
He was recently romantically linked to Billy Joel's ex-wife, celebrity chef, Katie Lee.
However, Russell has insisted speculation about his love life is "false and cruel".
