Ryan Adams back in the USA

Ryan Adams has returned to America and cancelled all his remaining UK tour dates after falling off the stage in Liverpool last week.

Adams broke his wrist on Thursday evening after plunging six feet off the stage at the Liverpool Royal Court venue.

He will be unable to play any of his remaining concerts here or across Europe. However, Adams is expected to return in the near future to complete the dates.

A statement on his official website reads: “This evening in Liverpool at the Royal Court Theatre during the last song of the set Ryan fell off the end of the stage (6 foot drop) and broke his left wrist.

”He was looking up while singing and did not see the edge of the stage. He was taken to a hospital in Liverpool where he will stay overnight. They will set it in the morning and go to directly to London to see a specialist. There is no more information at this time.
