Mandy Moore wants a low-key wedding to rocker Ryan Adams.
The US singer-and-actress insists she is thrilled about her forthcoming union with Ryan, but wants the marriage to be an intimate event.
Mandy, 24, said: "I'm actually very happy and very excited and sort of perplexed at even the little bit of fuss it's garnered.
"The wedding will be less of a big deal. Hopefully, it can happen and slip by unnoticed by everybody. I guess we have to be sort of sneaky about it, but I'll see what I can accomplish."
Mandy admits that playing a bride in several movies has dampened her excitement to try on a wedding dress.
She said: "Good golly! I haven't even begun to think about that dress stuff! I feel like, because I've been able to get married in a few films, I kind of got the whole giant wedding fuss out of my system."
Mandy also revealed she is considering asking her ex-boyfriend DJ AM to play at the reception.
She continued to Us Weekly magazine: "I could ask my friend Adam Goldstein. That could work too. There are many options. I haven't even gone down that path yet."
'Fix It' singer Ryan, 34, and Mandy announced their engagement last Wednesday (11.02.09). They originally started dating in 2007, but split in summer 2008 before recently reuniting.
