Scissor Sisters have garnered 10 accolades from 28 nominations in various awards ceremonies. Their single "Comfortably Numb" received the a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording in 2005 but lost to Britney Spears' "Toxic". The band have had greater success in the UK where, at the 2005 BRIT Awards, the group won all 3 of their nominations, including International Group, International Breakthrough, and International Album, making the group the first to win the hat-trick in the BRITs' International categories.
