Overview
In one of the most interesting and exciting collaborations of 2014, Scott Walker and Sun O))) appear to be working together on a new album for 4AD.
The above image was Tweeted by seminal indie label 4AD with the message: "Introducing a new project on 4AD: http://scott-o.com ||"
After much speculation, 4AD then confirmed that this would be a collaboration between Walkers Brothers' and solo icon Scott Walker, and ambient drone metal outfit Sun O))). Walker has spent the latter part of his career making dark avant-garde music that has proven both inventive, arresting and critically-acclaimed.
We're pretty excited - especially as 4AD have also reported that the record will be released later this year. It's going to be dark, it's going to be heavy, and it's going to be awesome.
