Rock singer Scott Weiland has pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of drugs.
The Velvet Revolver singer, 40, was stopped by police in November 2007 after he crashed his car on a Los Angeles freeway.
The singer, who faces up to a year in prison if found guilty because of a previous conviction, was arrested after refusing to take a sobriety test.
The former Stone Temple Pilots singer, now a member of Velvet Revolver with former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash, entered his plea through his lawyer.
Weiland's lawyer, Tony Brooklier, said the former Stone Temple Pilot had just completed 28 days in a treatment facility and is "doing well."
