Velvet Revolver's Scott Weiland spoke on stage last month that this was the final Velvet Revolver tour. What has become clear is that this was his last tour. It unfolds that Velvet Revolver have given Scott his marching orders.
Velvet Revolver (Slash, Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum and Dave Kushner) plan to carry on without Weiland who is heading out on tour this year with his old band Stone Temple Pilots.
"This band is all about its fans and its music and Scott Weiland isn't 100% committed to either," Slash said in a statement issued on Tuesday. "Among other things, his increasingly erratic onstage behavior and personal problems have forced us to move on."
Slash has been very vocal of late, he not only has spoken publicly about Velvet Revolver's future plans but he also took time out to slam emo music and the lack of true lead guitarists today, this as he releases his much publicised Guitar Hero III game.
