The former Stone Temple Pilots singer, Scott Weiland, has been arrested for allegedly crashing his car whilst drunk and accused of driving away without stopping.
The rock'n'roll wildman is reported to have crashed into a parked car in Hollywood.
He was arrested shortly after the incident and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was released just hours after the crash having posted bail. No stranger to the court room he has appeared several times on drink and drug related charges.
Weiland is also likely to face a charge of hit-and-run, because of his failure to stop after crashing his BMW into the other vehicle.
Weiland is due in Los Angeles Municipal Court on November 17 to face the charges.
