Selena Gomez spent seven weeks getting in tip-top shape for her new tour, learning how to breathe properly.
The Come & Get It singer worked on her stamina levels with top trainer Amy Rosoff Davis and signed up for Pilates and yoga classes to make sure she wouldn't face any health or fitness on tour.
And she tells Vogue magazine one of the things she really wanted to work on was her breathing.
"Once we started rehearsing, I was doing Pilates, SoulCycle, every form of yoga," she says. "Basically, I wanted to mix things up because I get bored easily. I just try to keep it fresh.
"I have the hardest time breathing, weirdly enough. Even when I have conversations, I need to work on my breathing, so it's something I enjoy because it's peaceful and it helps me relax."
She admits she needed some breathing advice because the stage on her Revival tour is the biggest she has ever been on.
And now that her six-month trek has begun, Selena has turned her attention to her surroundings as she travels across North America.
"I love having the same aroma in every room because it makes you feel like you're at home, no matter where you are," she smiles. "I have two humidifiers, and I mix eucalyptus and lavender oil for every room I come into - even my bus. I'm also about lighting, so everything has to feel very cozy and warm. I love to set the mood; that's kind of my thing."
The tour began in Las Vegas at the beginning of May (16).
