The Sex Pistols made their live return to the London stage last night, with the first of four dates at Brixton Academy.
The iconic band, who played their first reunion gig in Los Angeles last month, opened the show with "Pretty Vacant", to a sold-out crowd.
Singer John Lydon was on predictably belligerent form, with the band playing under a "California Republic" banner, in reference to his current home city.
Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock were all on form with Lydon telling the crowd he was now "Half a century young!", before Steve Jones, Glen Matlock and Paul Cook ran through their back catalogue.
"God Save The Queen", "Anarchy In The UK" and "Holidays In The Sun" were amongst the set-list, with The Pistols set for a second gig tonight.
