Shed Seven record company backlash

Shed Seven have sent out messages to all fans in order to stem the tide of abuse their record company Taste has received.

An official spokesperson said “It has been brought to our attention that Taste Media have received a number of abusive emails following our announcement that Shed Seven will split at the end of the year. We wish to point out that although Taste's reluctance to move forward with the songs already written may have been a factor in our decision to split, it was by no means the only one. It should be noted that Taste did not agree with our decision to call it a day.

Although we appreciate the many messages of support we've received in recent days, we must ask that you do not vent your anger/frustration towards the record company. The band/label relationship is not always an easy one, but Taste have been supportive towards Shed Seven and we do not condone any abusive comments made towards them. We're busy rehearsing for our final tour which we wish to make a celebration of the past ten years. So let's call off the witch-hunt and all get together to enjoy these final two months of Shed Seven.”document.write(unescape("
