Sinéad O'Connor has reunited with her husband after a "mad love making affair".
The Irish singer wed Barry Herridge in Las Vegas on December 8 but made an announcement via her official website just 16 days later confirming their break-up.
However, in a series of Tweets today, Sinead has confessed to reuniting with her estranged spouse. The songstress has revealed that an amorous display left them both pining for each other.
"Guess who had a mad love making affair with her own husband last night? (sic)" she teased on the social networking site.
'Yay!!! we decided to be boyfriend and girlfriend again an stay married but we did rush, so we gonna return to b friend g friend and be sickenly happy an go counsellin an move in like a yr like regular people... (sic)" she added.
"But stay married an we all in love an f**k every other motherf**ker who don't like it.. so me all happy!! me love me hubby.. he love me... f**k who no like it.. God is good!"
Sinead released a lengthy message on her website last month, detailing the demise of her short-lived marriage.
The star – who tied the knot on her 45th birthday – went into detail about the failings of her relationship with Barry.
"From the moment myself and my husband got together not long ago, there was intense pressure placed upon him by certain people in his life, not to be involved with me…," she wrote.
"And also by a bit of a wild ride i took us on looking for a bit of a smoke of weed for me wedding night as I don't drink. My husband was enormously wounded and very badly effected by that experience.
"I saw his life leave him because of how people close to him reacted. And I can't take anyone's life. And a woman wants to be a joy to her husband. So.. U love someone? Set them free (sic)."
Barry is Sinead's fourth husband.
