Sir Elton John's partner David Furnish has confirmed that the couple will be getting married again very soon.
The 65-year-old British singer and his 50-year-old beau welcomed their second son Elijah on January 11 and the pair also share two-year-old Zachary. Elton and David have been in a civil partnership since 2005.
Their native country Britain passed a law earlier this month that legalised gay marriage.
In celebration of the new legislation, the couple will get wed officially.
"We are going to get married again formally," David told British newspaper The Mirror.
"We'll renew our vows under the gay marriage act now that it's legal which is great. It's something we both want to do.
"We'd love for it to be able to happen in LA as well because it's like a second home to us."
Elton and David are public supporters of gay and civil rights.
They believe that it is important to wed to set an example.
"It is one of the pivotal defining issues of our time," David explained.
"Even though we have our relationship legally recognised, people are fighting hard for this issue every day.
"It's important Elton and I do this and make a statement."
Elton threw his famous annual Elton John's AIDS Foundation's Academy Awards viewing party in West Hollywood on Sunday.
The affair earned $6 million for the cause.
"We try to do our bit and apparently tonight we raised a record amount of money for the Elton John Aids Foundation which is amazing," David gushed.
