Sir Elton John snubbed Argentina's President.
The pop diva was reportedly so angry Christine Kirchner delayed their arranged meeting by five hours he left the country.
According to an insider, the 'Your Song' singer "hit the roof" on hearing Kirchner had postponed their meeting following his concert in Buenos Aires.
He almost immediately left for Chile.
Argentine commentator Javier Gonzalez said: "Christine always keeps VIPs waiting. It would seem she is as much of a diva as Elton John."
Elton's show will now hit the US until the end of May. He will then return to Europe for dates in Ireland, Britain and Germany.
The 61-year-old singer is also returning to his beloved soccer club. Elton walked away from his role as Honorary Life President of Hertfordshire club Watford FC two months ago after an ongoing feud with the club's former chairman Graham Simpson.
Just weeks later, Simpson resigned from his post, prompting the singer to consider rejoining the club. He even visited the club's training grounds late last month, chatting happily with players and staff.
Elton has been involved with Watford FC since 1976, holding the position of owner, chairman, director and president and the club is keen to have him involved once again.
