Sir Elton John spoofs Benny Hill in Saturday Night Live promo

The Rocket Man singer chases Jason Sudeikis around the studio after the US comedian claims to have stolen his sunglasses.

Sir Elton, who is hosting – and also performing on – SNL this weekend, also jokes about his own alleged catty side.

After Sudeikis calls him “one talented son of a b****”, Sir Elton quips: “You got the b**** part right.”

The 64-year-old star appears relaxed in the short promo to advertise this Saturday’s hotly anticipated show.

Wearing a black jacket and black-rimmed glasses, he stands alongside Sudeikis and reels off his lines with ease.

Sir Elton even sees the funny side when Sudeikis whips out a pair of extravagant sunglasses.

“They’re great man. Where did you get those?” he asks the Hall Pass star.

“Just in your bag,” the US funnyman laughs – before the pair chase one another around the SNL studio to the Benny Hill tune.
