PAUL MCCARTNEY has dedicated part of his Coachella set to his late wife Linda eleven years to the day that she died.
Linda passed away after a battle with breast cancer on April 17th 1998, prompting Sir Paul to pay tribute to his wife at the Californian festival.
He sang 'The Long and Winding Road' and 'My Love Does It Good' in her memory and told the crowd: "It's an emotional day for me. That's good, that's OK. Lot of heart, lot of emotion."
The two-and-a-half hour set, which featured two encores, was the first time the former Beatle has played in the US as a solo artist.
