Slow Club close a hugely successful 2012 with a final handful of UK dates, including their now traditional London Christmas show, held this year at Koko on 17th December.
After the release of their critically acclaimed second album Paradise, Slow Club enjoyed a sell out show at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire, a music video starring uber-fan Daniel Radcliffe and even an interview with Rebecca's soul-pop heartthrob Lemar.
With its swooning but raucous take on doo-wop and its frazzled, fragile representation of soul inspired rock, their second album Paradise is typical of a band whose members divide their obsessions between Destiny's Child and Noise-pop. Its singles featured consistently at Radio One and 6Music and have been playlisted across the regions by XFM. Arab Strap's Aidan Moffatt and Malcolm Middleton were so taken with Two Cousins they recorded their own version, which became an instant blog hit.
