Snow Patrol have been forced to cancel US shows because of the terrorist alerts in the UK.
The band were due to play gigs in Seattle (August 12) and Portland (13), but only two of the five band members were able to make it across to the States in time for the show.
A statement on the band's website snowpatrol.com reads: "The band members were flying from different cities, and while two (Nathan (Connolly) and Tom (Simpson)) did make it to the US, the rest did not.
"Continued delays and problems securing new flights have made it impossible for the three others (Gary (Lightbody), Johnny (Quinn) and Paul (Wilson)) to arrive in time for the concerts. Snow Patrol regrets any inconvenience or disappointment it has caused its fans."
There is no news yet as to when the concerts will be rescheduled.
The band will be playing the Boston Bank Of America Pavilion date tomorrow (August 15) and return for a full headlining tour next month, starting in Atlanta on September 6.document.write(unescape("
