Snow Patrol are the latest act to be confirmed for this summer's Live Earth concerts.
They will be joined on the bill by Fall Out Boy and Paolo Nutini, who will appear at one of the many concerts scheduled to take place on July 7.
So far events have been confirmed in Shanghai, Johannesburg, Sydney, Antarctica and London, with Japan, Brazil and the US also expected to host concerts.
Already confirmed to appear on the bill are Bloc Party, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Keane, Lenny Kravitz and Duran Duran.
