Snow Patrol launched new album 'Eyes Open' with a free gig in the grand surroundings of London's Royal Opera House this afternoon (April 26).
The band were joined by a choir as they ran through a host of selections from the record, out next week (May 1), as well as a bunch of old classics.
The choir appeared for new songs 'Hands Open' and 'Shut Your Eyes', and then later for another new song, 'The Finish Line'.
Snow Patrol also played 'It's Beginning To Get To Me' and 'Chasing Cars' from the new album, and finished with new single 'You're All I Have'.
Frontman Gary Lightbody was on good form as he said to the crowd: "What a beautiful venue, eh? It's a bit like playing in a train station."
The set was:
'Wow'
'Chocolate'
'It's Beginning To Get To Me'
'Spitting Games'
'Hands Open'
'Shut Your Eyes'
'Chasing Cars'
'How To Be Dead'
'The Finish Line'
'Run'
'You're All I Have'
The show was the first of six gigs Vodafone are running called To Be Announced. It's going to be shown this weekend on E4, to be repeated on Channel 4 on May 5 at 11pm.document.write(unescape("
