Sophie Ellis-Bextor is pregnant.
The 'Murder on the Dancefloor' singer has announced she and her husband, The Feeling bassist Richard Jones, will welcome their second child into the world in April.
Posting on her official website, Sophie - who already has a four-year-old son Sonny - wrote: "I am going to be having a break around March/April as I am very happy to share with you all the news that I am having another baby.
I am due at the beginning of April and naturally the Ellis-Bextor-Joneses are thrilled that Sonny will soon have a little brother or sister. "Looks like 2009 is going to be an exciting year (and busy!) for me. I can't wait!"
Sophie, 29, revealed earlier this year she was "desperate" to have another baby. She said: "I'd love to have more children but I'm just really tied up with work at the moment.
"I love spending time with Sonny and luckily I can fit a lot of my work round him. He'll start school either this September or next so I'll have a bit more free time then."
