Overview
Soundgarden will have a new studio album this year to slide alongside the band's first official live album due on March 22.
The band has confirmed at their official website that they have a bunch of new songs written.
'Over the past few months, we've been busy jamming, writing and hanging out together - exploring the creative aspect of being Soundgarden. It feels great. We have some cool new songs that we are going to record very soon. Thank you for all of the support!'

Soundgarden will be releasing 'Live on I-5', the first live album on March 22.
