Spandau Ballet have revealed that they're recording their first new album since 1989.
The band reunited for a comeback tour in 2009, which they followed up with a new album Once More - but that was just comprised of reworked versions of old songs, with just two new songs.
The band's new album will be the first entirely original LP in twenty five years, following on from 1989's Heart Like A Sky.
Spandau Ballet, who are comprised of Martin and Gary Kemp, Steve Norman, Tony Hadley and John Keeble, formed in 1979, and are considered a key member of the New Romantic movement.
The band tweeted news of the new album on their official account, and also revealed that it will be produced by Trevor Horn - who has produced 1980s classics including ABC’s The Lexicon Of Love and Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s Welcome To The Pleasuredome.
