Mel C says collaborating with former bandmate Emma Bunton on a new track was "amazing and emotional".
The singer took to her Twitter page today to announce that the former Spice Girl stars have recorded a song together - which brought back many memories.
Mel's album Stages is due for release in September, and the 38-year-old was delighted to welcome friend and fellow songstress Emma to feature on one of the songs.
"*Drum roll* I am very proud to announce my beautiful friend @EmmaBunton has duetted with me for me new album Stages ?#babyandsporty!!" she wrote on her Twitter Page, referring to their Spice Girl nicknames Sporty Spice and Baby Spice.
"Me and @EmmaBunton and have recorded the fantastic,'I know him so well' Singing together again is amazing and emotional. Love you baby! x (sic)."
Emma also took to the social networking site to gush about the collaboration.
"Being back in the recording studio with the amazing @MelanieCmusic was emotional and brought back so many memories!!!! Loved it!! (sic)."
Yesterday, the pair teased followers about the pending news.
