Status Quo have been forced to cancel six shows on their European tour due to the illness of guitarist Rick Parfitt.
Parfitt is the member of Status Quo with the second longest tenure, having joined in 1967. Fellow guitarist Francis Rossi has been a member since 1962.
Included in the cancelled dates are tonight's show in Croatia, Monday in Monte Carlo, August 6 and 7 in Switzerland and August 9 and 10 in Germany.
The nature of Parfitt's illness has not been announced. He previously had heart bypass surgery in 1997 along with a throat cancer scare in 2005 which turned out to be benign.
