Summer is on its way, helped not only by the degree of tilt the Earth's axis has in relation to the Sun, but also Portland's own sunshine merchants Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks. They release new single 'Stick Figures In Love' from their recent universally excellent full-length Mirror Traffic on Monday the 2nd of April 2012.
Produced by the one and only Beck Hansen, "Stick Figures In Love" is a slice of up-tempo guitar flecked gorgeousness driven by a relentless churning strum. It also features a sweetly off-the-cuff vocal delivery from Malkmus; background interjections and studio chat all left in. 'Stick Figures In Love' will be available via digital download.
