On Tuesday 24th November, legendary Welsh rockers, Stereophonics, will play a very special, intimate show for Absolute Radio in a night dedicated to raising awareness for War Child. The organisation offers life-changing support to the most vulnerable children whose families, communities and schools have been torn apart by war.
Absolute Radio Breakfast show host Christian O'Connell will introduce Kelly Jones (vocals/guitar), Richard Jones (bass), Adam Zindani (guitar), and Jamie Morrison (drums) to the stage at the Dingwalls in Camden, while presenter Chris Martin will take to the decks for a special DJ set either side of the bands performance.
The fans lucky enough to be there can expect a showcase of classic tracks, interspersed with future hits like 'Song For The Summer', taken from Stereophonics number one album 'Keep The Village Alive' released on the band's own Stylus Records label through Ignition Records.
Absolute Radio Breakfast show host Christian O'Connell said "Stereophonics ninth studio album, 'Keep The Village Alive' shows the band's status as one of Britain's best and we can't wait to have them back for what promises to be a very special performance. The night is all about helping to support the incredible work that War Child do and every donation, no matter how small, helps to make that vital difference"
The night is about supporting the incredible work of War Child. Children don't start wars, but, as the news portrays on daily basis, they're affected first and worst. Absolute Radio listeners can make a difference; every donation will help children in some of the most extreme places on the planet not only survive, but thrive.
