Steve Jones: ?I`m not dating Nicole Scherzinger?

In an interview with The Daily Beast website, the 34-year-old Welsh hunk rubbishes recent reports that he has been romancing the X Factor judge following her split from Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton – and claims that he didn't even know that they were supposed to be dating.

'Scherzinger! No, I did not know that,' he says when asked if it's true they’re now an item.

'We were just texting each other about the show last night. She never mentioned that we were seeing each other. That's ridiculous. We have a definite brother and sister thing going on.'

The former model has a reputation as a ladies' man and has been linked to a string of female celebrities including Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton, Halle Berry, and former Heroes star Hayden Panettiere.

He denies dating Hilton, but claims to have asked Angelina Jolie out on a date eight years ago after he interviewed her.

'I was totally over the top and cocky and forward,' he says. 'It was a very flirty interview and she played ball. Still filming, I saw her that evening at the premiere, and I gave her my telephone number on the back of a tube ticket.

'She took it. I'm still waiting for that call, by the way.'
