Stevie Nicks marries Vanessa Carlton and John McCauley

In the who knew news, rocker Stevie Nicks is an ordained minister and she married Vanessa Carlton and John McCauley in a lovely outdoor ceremony, as announced via Instagram and Twitter.

Musician Vanessa Carlton, 33, wed musician John McCauley (Deer Tick) during a bucolic afternoon ceremony on Friday, Dec, 27.

"Married this gentleman two hours ago xo," the "A Thousand Miles" singer captioned a snap which features them embracing after saying "I do."

Carlton was resplendent on her wedding day, wearing a formfitting white gown. Her hair was down adorned with purple flowers that matched her bouquet.

Carlton shared another photo, featuring the pair during the ceremony with their rock star minister Stevie Nicks.

"Thanks Stevie for marrying us!" Carlton said on Twitter, along with a photo of the trio.

McCauley also posted a photo on Instagram with his wife and Nicks, along with the caption, "Married! Thank you to the Honorable Reverend Stevie Nicks for doin' us the deed!!!"

This is the first marriage for Carlton, who had previously dated John Mayer and Third Eye Blind's Stephan Jenkins.
