Stevie Wonder back on tour

US music legend Stevie Wonder is set to go on tour after spending years out of the limelight.

The Grammy Award-winning singer will kick off his US tour in San Diego on August 23.

Although Wonder has performed several one off gigs throughout his career, this will be the first time the Motown star has gone on the road for more than 20 years.

The soul star made the announcement at a park in LA, where he wowed onlookers with renditions of some of his greatest hits, including Higher Ground and My Cherie Amour.

The Wonder Summer's Night tour of 13 cities is set to end in Boston on September 20 but the singer says more dates could be added.
