After many furious denials, we can now put all the rumours to bed and confirm the reunion of Madchester kings The Stone Roses is finally happening.
Music News were at a press conference held at London's Soho Hotel to confirm a World Tour this afternoon at 3pm.
They confirmed the15-year split was over and the band will play two shows at Heaton Park, Manchester, on 29 and 30 June before embarking on a world tour.
Singer Ian Brown said his friendship with John Squirewas back on track and the group would release a new album soon.
The Manchester giants were formed in 1983 but recorded just two albums before they split in 1996.
Their 1989 self-titled debut is regarded as a seminal work, combining psychedelic pop and funky basslines.
